The intent of this program is to identify and recognize K-12 schools throughout Fresno County that have been in continuous operation for at least 100 years.

Criteria for placement on the Fresno County Register of Centennial Schools: 

• School was established and in continuous operation for at least 100 years exceptions will be considered on a case-to-case basis.

• School’s original name may have been changed or modified.

• School’s original site may have been moved from original location to current location.

• School’s original buildings may have been destroyed, remodeled, updated or replaced by current buildings.

• School can be public or private.
